About Cale Deese
Well, where do we begin?
Cale is a relative newcomer to on-track action but has been around racing his entire life. Named after NASCAR legend Cale Yarborough there wasn’t much doubt where he was headed.
After growing up watching his father race at dirt tracks across the southeast and then later being around his father’s shops in the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series, Cale had received an incurable dose of the “racing bug”.
Finally in 2020 the stars aligned for Cale to get his racing career off the ground and realize his dream. Teaming up with his father, Duane Deese, they decided to pursue the Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association (SCDRA) and began assembling their program.
And so it all began
Making his debut in the Deese Racing Enterprises, #35 Chevrolet Cavalier at Modoc Speedway in October of 2020, Cale was preparing for a rookie season that would find out just what he was made of.
2021 started off with a bang with Cale grabbing his first career win at his home track, Modoc Speedway in Modoc, S.C. in just his 3rd career start. This would be just the start to a very eventful rookie campaign.
Cale’s rookie season took him to 13 different race tracks in 7 states. Highlighted by his win at Modoc, a pole position at Sumter Speedway in Sumter, S.C Cale also took the #35 car to bucket list race tracks like The Dirt Track at Charlotte and the Dirt Nationals at The Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, TN
After experiencing a rookie year of highs and lows Cale started to gain a greater feel for the car and his abilities began to sharpen by the end of the year giving everyone associated with the team great hope and promise for the 2022 campaign.
2022
So far, the 2022 campaign has resulted in 2 wins, an outside pole and a top 4 finish. The Edgefield flyer is on course for an impressive sophomore season. With the support of great companies like S&H Green Stamps, Stuckey’s, Renegade Race Fuels, PennGrade1 High Performance Oil and many others, the wins are going to start piling up.
Without question, and with the utmost gratitude, Cale acknowledges that the support of his family is what’s gotten him this far in his career. The support of his wife Toni and the entire #35 racing family are what truly drives him.
If Cale Deese is racing at a track near you... do yourself a favor and go. He will not disappoint.
