The Newburyport Art Association was founded in 1948. The NAA is dedicated to promoting and exhibiting our members’ work, to providing art education for students of all ages and skills, and to keeping the visual arts accessible for students in our local schools and for special needs adults.

Located in Newburyport MA, The Maudslay State Park Association is a 501(c)3 volunteer organization devoted to restoring and maintaining park facilities. Our mission is to assist in the operation of Maudslay State Park and to serve as liaison between the nearby communities and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

SOAK and Shoreline are two distinct stores located next to one another on State Street in downtown Newburyport, MA. From hard-to-find natural items, organic products, gifts, apparel and a twenty-foot soap bar, our extensive collection has something for everyone.

Stewart Lytle is a novelist and a lifelong journalist, writing for papers from Alabama to Texas to Washington, D.C. and Massachusetts. His novel, Iron City Conspiracy, is available on amazon. A native of Birmingham, AL, he is a graduate of Princeton University.

Located in Newburyport MA, The Firehouse Center for the Art is a 195-seat intimate theater on the waterfront of beautiful downtown historical Newburyport. This vibrant cultural center offers national, regional and local live performances at affordable prices. Additionally, we are proud of our family and senior programming.

The Belleville Roots Music Series has been bringing top-quality roots music to Greater Newburyport since 2011. But the Series had its origin several years earlier, in the fall of 2005, when Doyle Lawson approached founding Rounder Records partner Ken Irwin and asked him if he knew of a place in the area where his bluegrass and gospel group Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver might perform. After checking around without success, Ken offered that he and his wife, Donna Wilson Irwin, would put on the concert themselves. They approached the Belleville Church two doors down and secured space for the event, and the concert was held on February 26, 2006.
